Case Closed. Justice Prevails.

Today, January 10, 2024, the Supreme Court of the State of California denied the Laguna Beach Historic Preservation Coalition’s and Historic Architecture Alliance’s Petition for Review and Request for Depublication (of lower courts’ rulings in favor of the Kirbys).

This is quite literally a historic case for California homeowners who believe in thoughtful and reasonable preservation & restoration of the historic homes they love. A written precedent has been set with this case.
