You care about Laguna, your home, and your family. So do we.

We’ve got nothing to hide, and we’re proud of that.

We’re Your Neighbors

Laguna Beach is such a small town - we’re all neighbors. Laguna Neighbors for Saving Properties and Families is an unincorporated association founded by Pat Gallis, Mary Williams, Dan Rosenthal, Chris Quilter, and the Kirby family. We’ve come together because “preservationist” groups are wasting our taxpayer dollars, and suing good neighbors like the Kirbys and the City of Laguna Beach in an attempt to prevent them from making their house livable for their family. If this sounds crazy… well, it is. Read about how it happened and the progress here.

We’re Preservationists

The organizations suing the Kirbys claim to be all about preservation. Their idea of preservation means denying any meaningful modification whatsoever to the Kirby’s historic house. Not only is that a complete misinterpretation of CEQA guidelines, it’s also unrealistic when it comes to actually preserving a historic house. The Kirby’s are making thoughtful modifications to their home to make it livable and enjoyable so that it will last into the future. That’s real preservation and we intend to support any homeowner in Laguna Beach who wants to do something similar.

This will set a precedent for Laguna into the future. Will you join the effort to save Laguna homes and the families who love them?
