Justice is Served

On Friday, May 20, 2022, Superior Court Judge Randall J. Sherman ruled that the City of Laguna Beach acted properly in its review and approval of the Kirby’s plans to renovate their historic home in North Laguna. See the full ruling below.

This nearly 5-year process couldn't have happened without the support of neighbors, the Heritage Committee, City Planning, Design Review Board, City Council, and the taxpayers whose tax dollars continue to be used to fight frivolous lawsuits against our town and its families.

Is this the end of the story? Time will tell, but we wouldn't have gotten this far without the direct support of our citizens who care about the future of Laguna!

We'll be sure to share any further updates. For a full history of events, check out the History page, and read updates on the Updates page.

Take action against the special interest groups who threaten our rights, our families, and realistic preservation by donating to the cause here.

Just as important, will you please help spread the word and share this message with one other person who cares about our community?

Lastly, Laguna Neighbors is all about transparency. We believe in the responsible preservation of Laguna Beach historic homes, and we always recommend that you do your own research so you can come to an informed opinion.
